1. If you could be anyone in the world for one day, who would you be and what would you do? I think I'd be Mikey. I'd go to school, have lunch, participate in class, have recess, the whole nine yards. I'd like to know how he sees life, how he views the world, how his nine-year-old mind works. I'd like to know how he processes information, where his struggles lie and what he thinks about the things he learns, observes. I'd like to see through his eyes, to know how it feels for him to laugh, to learn how he perceives joy and sorrow. I want to find out how he loves, and whether his heart is as bottomless as I've always suspected.
2. If you could only go on holiday to one place for the rest of your life, where would you go? To the lake. It's quiet, peaceful, beautiful, and has everything I could need or want within ten miles. And I can see the stars.
3. Who do you most admire and why? Dunno - I think I'd have to go withkazzy24. She's hugely smart and loads of fun and altogether too kind to be going on with. And despite her individual dragons, she keeps getting up and trying, even when it's scary or it hurts - and that's what life and love are all about.
4. Who is the one famous person (alive or dead) that you would most like to meet? Jesus! I have so many questions, so many things I'd like straight answers to - and I have bruised faith and overwhelming hope, both in need of some serious lifting.
5. What made you first read Harry Potter? Jigz! XD I always meant to, but never got around to it. Then we went on vacation out East in 2005, and stopped first at Jigzy's place for the weekend. She wanted to watch the third movie, but I refused because I hadn't read the books yet. She handed me the first three off her shelf and said, "Get reading." LOL! I finished those three books in less than 24 hours, and then we watched the movies.
I've never fallen so deep and so hard so quickly. That was it, I was lost. I've never looked back.

1. What was the last thing that really made you laugh? Mikey! He always has me laughing, usually just by talking - it's hilarious, what kids hear and try to repeat! A week or so ago, I tricked him into saying "arse," and the look on his face was absolutely priceless when I told him it was a swear word...he's always horrified when he says a swear word! *LOL*
2. If your username is derived from mythology, what other mythology characters do you like and why? If it's not, then what is the reason/story behind it? It IS derived from Mythology - have I told you this before? *hehe* Anyway, other mythological characters I like would probably be Prometheus - he enjoyed humans so much, he gave them fire and endured nearly eternal punishment for it. I also love Athena - strong and wise and all woman! Odysseus was brilliant and Morpheus, well, he's the bringer of dreams. XD
3. Name a book(s) that made you cry most. Only two come to mind...most recently, of course, it was Deathly Hallows. And the time before that, man, it must have been when I was in junior high - it was Where the Red Fern Grows, by Wilson Rawls.
4. What T.V. show do you absolutely detest? I generally turn it off if I don't like it, so I'm not sure - but I'd probably have to go with wrestling - I just think it's incredibly ridiculous.
5. Have you ever slapped a female? Like, bitch-slapped? No. I don't even think I've regularly slapped anyone...that doesn't mean I haven't wanted to, though! XD

1. What is your favorite ocean creature? Mm, probably sea turtles. I adore them.
2. Do you speak any other language? If so, what? I can read music. I can usually figure out what people are saying in Spanish - so long as it's pertaining to my job. I can count to ten in English, Spanish, German, French, Japanese and American Sign Language. I can say a handful of phrases in French, a few pleasantries in Japanese and several fistsful of phrases in Spanish. I can also sing "It's Raining, It's Pouring" in Spanish. I can say "goodbye" in Russian, as well as "no, I don't want to." And I can sing in Russian and Ukrainian, and a little in Italian, but I couldn't tell you what it is I'm singing about. *LOL* Ooh, ooh! I've started learning how to pronounce stuff in Welsh! Man, is that weird!! *LOL*
3. What is the funniest thing you have ever done? Oh, man - I have no idea what's the funniest...there are some pretty cute stories about me as a baby and toddler - but I guess in my own memory, the funniest is when I get sick. I get loopy when I'm sick, and the last two times I had the flu, I came up with the weirdest stuff! For instance, I think it would be hilarious if someone sheared the word "POO" into the side of sheep. I shit you not, I would absolutely die laughing if I was walking down a country lane and passed a farm where several sheep were grazing and they all said "POO" on their sides. *giggles madly at the very idea*
4. What is your favorite vegetable? Does a potato count? *hehe* I'd say corn, but I've sworn it off - it does evil things to me. So I guess that leaves broccoli or green beans.
5. Who is your favourite Disney princess and why? I have no idea. I always adored Belle - she's a voracious reader and smart. But I also love Aurora (Sleeping Beauty)- she's gorgeous and can sing like sunshine. And then there's Mulan - while not technically a princess, she's smart and does what she thinks is right, regardless of the consequences.
In other news, I've created a collage of some of my interests. I did it for a contest thingy, but I really love it, sparse though it is, and as soon as I figure out how to stick it in my profile, I think I will. Until then, you can see it here, if you're interested: Self Collage
