RULES: Once you've been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 25 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you. At the end, choose 10 people to be tagged. You have to tag the person who tagged you. If I tagged you, it's because I want to know more about you. I'd tag the lot of you, but you've all done it already! So enjoy my list, and if for some reason you HAVEN'T done it yet, please consider yourself tagged and get on with it. *snerk*
1. I'm a complete swot. Know-it-all, full of myself, God complex, whatever. I firmly believe the world would be in great shape if everyone would just listen to me and do what the hell I tell them to do.
2. I am WAY meaner in my head than I ever am out loud.
3. I cannot remember a time when I wasn't aware of being needed to fulfill a parental role. I have no memory of "just being a kid."
4. I seem to lose friends on a regular basis. I can't decide if it's because they get tired of me or if I'm just that unremarkable, that forgettable, or that annoying.
5. I'm nearly 31 years old and am wondering when I'll start thinking I'm an adult. My brain feels like it's still 17. Does that ever go away, do you suppose?
6. I am a champion speller and I adore language and words. I love twisting and shaping them into prose, into thoughts and ideas and stories. I love to read and to write. I love challenging myself to say something poignant, something huge, with as few words as possible. It's...thrilling.
7. Quoting movies is something I do constantly and with great accuracy. I'm always slipping them into everyday conversation as they pertain to the topic, and I find myself mildly disappointed when no one picks up on them. It's sort of how you feel when you tell a joke but no one gets it, so you have to explain it, which makes it nowhere near so funny.
8. When I'm working at my desk, I turn my iPod on, tuck my headphones on, then rock out, bopping around in my seat while I key. If I'm not in the mood for music, I'll set one of the movies on to play and listen as I work.
9. I am Narnian in the deepest part of my heart.
10. My sister is pregnant with her first child - I am so happy for her. XD.
11. I am horrible about time. I never know how long ago something was - two years, eight years, it's all the same to me.
12. I have an excellent sense of direction.
13. I hate clothes. The fewer I have on, the better.
14. I love to sing. I can sing. If I had the guts, I'd get up and do it in front of people. But alas, no guts. :( I'm terrified they'd think I'm awful, then tell me so.
15. I enjoy making avatars and other graphics when I have the time to do so. I love learning new things and then making something reflecting my new knowledge.
16. I'm the one who forgets our anniversary, not my husband. It's the whole time thing.
17. He doesn't feel too bad about it though, because I also often forget my own birthday.
18. I hatehatehatehate HATE confrontation and big arguments. Because of this, I tend to be a doormat. But I'm learning to stand up for myself sometimes.
19. I'm one of those annoyingly cheerful people in the morning.Usually.
20. I hate - no, I abhor - being wrong. So I try not to be. If I don't know the answer, I just keep quiet. My favorite phrase is, of course, "I told you so." I don't always say it, but boy, I think it a lot.
21. I love making people laugh. It's satisfying.
22. I startle easily. It's a holdover from the rape. Another would be my complete inability to handle being alone at home at night. If I am, I either need to have a sister or another adult come sleep over, or I sleep with the light on and a chair under the door. I also don't like going places - anywhere - by myself, although that's been more in recent years, so I don't know if that's really a holdover...but it seems like one.
23. I am a homebody. I am perfectly happy staying home all day - going out and about is rarely my first choice of things to do.
24. I totally would've been sorted into Hufflepuff.
25. I'll take Winter over Summer just about any day of the week.
Hmmm...that went faster than I thought it might. Feel free to ask any questions, make any comments. ;) Or not, whatever suits you.

So glad you did it here, now I can comment and attempt my own. ^_~
1. Nowt wrong with that. I often feel like that too. I guess we just can't help it if the people round us are idiots! *lol*
3. :( I'm sorry you never got any kid time
4. :( As I said last night, nothing you've told me and nothing I know of you gives me a reason to every want to stop being your friend, and I on't get why it's happened with others. You're awesome, and I love you!
5. Does that ever go away, do you suppose? Well, as I'm five years younger than you, I can't say if it goes away or not. But I assure you, I feel just the same.
9. Yes, me too.
10. Congratulations ^_^ Which sister and when is she due?
13. I feel like that too. Maybe that explains why I spend so much time in the bath! *lol*
23. I know how you feel there. Aside from class, I don't go out unless I have to.

3. Well. I'm sure I did, I'm sure I was. I simply don't remember any of those times, you know?
4. I love you back!
5. Well, at least it's not just me, then!
9. It amazes me, sometimes, that others aren't.
10. Valerie. She's the middle child, and she's due in August some time. ;)
23. *nods* Yup, exactly.

I'm sorry, but there's nothing that you do that could drive people away.
10. Aw, when is the baby due? Boy/girl? :-)
17. He doesn't feel too bad about it though, because I also often forget my own birthday.
LOL

*snuggles*
24. I totally would've been sorted into Hufflepuff.
I think Ravenpuff for you.

10. She's due in August; I think they're waiting to find out. Val wants to know, but Bailey doesn't, so they'll wait till the baby is born.
17. XD.
22. *snuggles back*
24. Yeah? No one's ever said Ravenclaw to me yet. :)

4. Even though I may wander off and come back, I'll always be your friend. I don't give up my friends easily.
5. No, I don't think it does. And it's always surprising when I see someone from my formative years, that I haven't seen in a while, and they look so grown up. It never occurs to me they might well be thinking the same thing.
6. Me too! My brother is four years older than me and it used to drive him crazy when our mum would be helping him study his spelling and I would spell him under the table every time.
12. Same here also, and I love to read and play with maps, although when I'm driving they are completely unnecessary. Michael thinks this is the strangest part of my personality.
16 & 17. OMG O.o I seriously thought I was the only woman in the world that forgot those two dates. I have to ask Michael every year what the date of our anniversary is. I know which month, but I can never remember the day.
23. I am too. If I can avoid leaving the house I will. I'm not agoraphobic, I just prefer to be at home as opposed to running around town with no money and nothing to do.

4. Aww! Thanks!
5. *snerk* I know what you mean!
6. *giggles* Drove him crazy, but I bet it was delightfully satisfying for you! *hehe*
12. I don't think it's strange, not at all!
16/17. Well, holy hell. I thought it was only me!!! Finally, someone else who forgets those pesky things!
23. Yes, this. Exactly this.

7. Me too, and no one ever seems to get the references, or they just say I've seen the movie too many times lol

7. Losers, the lot of them. *snorts out a laugh* "Seen it too many times." BAH! *giggles* You can never see good stuff too many times. XD.
