Haven't done one of these in a while...

I saw some Friday Five questions while scrolling through my reading page, and realized I hadn't done any in ages. And naturally, I am a day behind. *snorts out a laugh*

1. What size (twin, full, etc.) is your bed?
King. We've had a king for about fifteen years, and I sincerely hope we never downsize. We could probably go back to a queen, but I just don't wanna!

2. How many pillows do you sleep with?
As many as I can commandeer or flat out steal. I think I currently have something like five or six, plus a king size one I use as a body pillow, though mostly to have something between my knees.

3. Do you have a weighted blanket? If so, does it help you?
I do not. I don't know that I really need one, personally.

4. Do you sleep with any stuffed animals?
Nope.

5. Do you have to have the TV on to go to sleep?
I can sleep with or without noise.

The Friday Five

I haven't done one of these in a while, so I thought I'd post one. As this week's question set hasn't been posted yet, I'll answer last week's. :)

Been a while since I did one of these, so...

Thought I'd give [community profile] thefridayfive a whirl today:

1. What is your favorite section of the newspaper?

I'm generally not the type of person who reads or watches the news, so of course, the comics are generally my favorite section - which also happens to include the crossword puzzle. ;)

2. Sunday comics or weekday strips? Which comic is your favorite?

Sunday comics are great because they're bigger, but I almost prefer the weekday ones because there are more that can be fit in, and are often chock-full of amusing things. My very favorite comic for years has been "One Big Happy." I also really loved "The Far Side" and "Calvin and Hobbes," among others.

3. Do you read your daily horoscope? Do you believe in it?

No and no. I don't think I even know where to find it in the newspaper.

4. Does the paper become bird cage lining, do you recycle, or does it get thrown in the trash?

We recycle, but we often like to keep a paper shopping bag full of newspapers because it gets used as table protection for art projects, pumpkin carving and the like.

5. Where do you read the paper? At home, at work, or elsewhere?

When I read the newspaper, it's either at home or at Bunny and John's, although sometimes I'll swipe the crossword puzzle out of the break room at work if someone's left it there, or take turns filling it in with unknown various coworkers who occasionally pop in to give a clue a go like I do.

The Friday Five

[community profile] thefridayfive doesn't have anything up yet, so I'm going to answer questions from Friday 5. And to be even more complicated, I'm going to answer Friday 5's questions from LAST week, because I don't have good answers for this week...

Mmm, Friday.

Nothing too new or different going on. Home life is going just fine. Work is worse and worse, but instead of telling you about yesterday's gross atrocity of Epic Managerial Keysmash Fail, I think I'll take another day or two to calm down and instead give you The Friday Five.

I haven't done it for a while, but I like it, so here you go:

The Friday Five

I think I like this "Friday Five" idea, so I'll give it a bit of a go.

This week's questions from [community profile] thefridayfive:

I got a new shadow. I had to get rid of the other one, it wasn't doing what I was doing.

It's Monday once again, which means my lovely weekend is over. Boo.

And that wraps it up, I guess. Now it's back to the grind for another five days. And this year's state fair starts on Thursday; we're going on Saturday, which we're looking forward to doing. Mike's already hoping to win another giant, stuffed toy. ;)
