And so it begins...
Nov. 27th, 2007 07:49 pmSo Mikey lost his very first tooth on Sunday. It's been loose for a couple weeks, and on Sunday, he had Amanda tie a string around it, attached it to the knob on the front door, then slammed it shut himself.

You can even see the new tooth coming up, there. His visit from the Tooth Fairy was super exciting. We were still up when he came into our room at eleven-thirty, clutching his dollar and quarter and grinning from ear to ear. And was utterly confused when we informed him it wasn't even time to get up yet and he had to go back to bed. *lol*
His other bottom front tooth is loose now too, and he's thrilled. *roll eyes* ;)
This morning, I went to wake him up, and noticed that he put some of his clothes on his stuffed animals before going to sleep last night. Namely, an entire package of new socks.

Yes folks, those are socks. One each on Elmo's legs, one each on the bear's legs and arms and...uh...head...how the bear can see is beyond me. The lump in the middle is a very well-loved baby doll - "I had to keep him warm, Mom."So he suffocates it?
And on top in the middle is the lone, leftover sock that he couldn't fit anyplace else.
I just about cracked up when I saw them all this morning - and then my sister goes, "Great - you'll know when he's trying to rob a bank...he'll be the one with the white cotton sock on his head, feeling his way around." *ROTFL*
OK, maybe it was funnier since I was there...but anyway, that was my amusement for the day. XD

Date: 2007-11-28 06:20 pm (UTC)I don't know what's funnier, the socks or the tooth fairy story. What is it with kids and socks? Nathan looses his all the time, and I have to be a new pack almost every week! *rolleye*

Date: 2007-11-29 03:58 am (UTC)I was lucky if I got a quarter when I was a kid! *lol* In all fairness though, the quarter came from his grandmother. The dollar came from
us- er - the Tooth Fairy... *lol*
