Minnesota Tragedy
Aug. 2nd, 2007 06:42 amSo a bridge collapsed here yesterday. About 12 hours ago, actually - it's such a tragedy, the lives lost, the people still missing, the people hurt.

It's always wrenching, no matter where tragedy happens, but so close to home really shakes you up. Our thoughts and prayers are with those affected - in any way - by this.
And I'm thankful - so thankful - that neither my family nor I were on that bridge when it collapsed.
The scariest part? Matt and Mikey went over the bridge right next to it yesterday afternoon, when they dropped Mom and Amanda off at the airport. O_O
