( Guess who has a new home as of Saturday. )
Amanda's graduation is on Sunday; today is her last day of classes. And even knowing it's her last day, she looked me dead in the eye this morning and said, "I still wish I didn't have to go." *LOL*
Mikey had his field day yesterday. Matt went and took a bunch of pics, said he laughed so much. I saw some of the pics, haven't cropped them yet. Mikey signed up to run the 50-yard dash - which he did while looking around aimlessly at everything, and then lost spectacularly. *giggles* He also signed up to do hurdles. Hurdles! *LOL* Not real ones, those are too big for third graders, even some of those monster sized third-graders. No, there were plastic bars stuck into small orange cones. And Mikey cleared one of them...knocked every single one of the others out. *snorts out a laugh*
You're probably thinking by now that my child is hardly a candidate for Athlete of the Year...and you'd be right, in all fairness. But I have to give him major kudos; one, for trying something he thought might be fun, even though he didn't think he could do it, and two, for doing an excellent job in the ball toss event he signed up for. According to Matt, he redeemed himself for the hurdles and the dash by out-throwing nearly every other kid in his particular group. XD
Not too much else is new...or interesting enough to jot down. I only have a few pics from last Sunday to share, I'll stick 'em under a cut. ( Pics from Sunday )
