Not a bad day off.
Mar. 27th, 2009 08:30 pm1. Saw Monsters VS Aliens today. Not a bad movie at all. I'd probably even see it again. And I LOVE that Real D 3D stuff - nowhere near as hard to watch as the old 3D stuff.
2. Picked up Graceling today, which is on my list of stuff to read. And, of course, found something else to read that ISN'T on my list, so I have to add it. How is it that this list keeps getting bigger and bigger?
3. Also, how is it that I have more books on my list than I can reasonably see being able to actually read within a year, yet my child abhors the very thought of reading a book? He thinks they're boring!! Seriously, WTF, mate? I can't even...I mean, HOW??!!
4. Since I'm on the topic of books...I want a Kindle. It's my dream gift. You guys, it holds books. Entire books. Lots of them. At once. I could carry my entire library everywhere. ... Of course, it would never replace the feeling of pages in your hand, that lovely new book smell (or even that OLD book smell!) - but for the purposes of travel and for people like me who have to go to work every day? Incredible. It even has a basic web browser (simple pages, text) and unrestricted access to Wikipedia - you know, my source for just about every-damn-thing.
5. Heard today, Amanda was approved, so she'll officially be living with us. XD.
6. Matt got a G1 phone today. *sigh* He's fully aware that if he starts mooning over another new phone anytime within the next year, maybe even two years, I am going to rip off his arm and beat him to death with it. I suppose I should thank the God of tech geeks that his phone number didn't change, yeah? *rolls eyes*
7. That is all.

Date: 2009-03-28 02:38 am (UTC)Congrats on the new place. We are looking now, too. Got to have some where to put the sprocket here and I would like to get moved before I can prop boxes on my actual pregnant belly.
