1. *giggles* I'd sound awful because I'd be so nervous, my voice would wobble! And I'd be all out of tune and it would be a mess. Better to catch me when I think no one's around, or listening. *hehe*
2. There are some fabulous ships in fanfiction, and even the ones I don't necessarily agree with on a personal level can be very well done. I'm not a Harry/Hermione shipper by any stretch of the imagination, but I've read some wonderfully written fanfics that DO ship them. It's just a matter of how open you are to reading other things. :)

4. I don't think it's a conscious decision to make himself look like the hero. He didn't think "oh, I'll defeat Voldemort because then everyone will worship me and I'll be given loads of money."
YES! And that's how it came across to me, like it was so awful to want to help people, like he was doing it specifically for attention.
