1. We leave for our week at the lake in less than TWO DAYS. *bounces* We are so totally looking forward to this vacation; we've needed it for rather a while, now. We haven't been up there in two years - it'll be nice to finally just relax and do nothing. We leave Saturday morning, and come back the following Saturday.
2. I've discovered that I really, really enjoy ogling different interiors, so here are some more I found that I love. I found the lot of them on Decorology; I'm finding that I really enjoy reading that blog.
I love the blue, and I love the table. Wouldn't you love to come home to this?

OK, show of hands: Who wants to step in here with a comfortable, waterproof pillow and just stay for hours?

You know what? I seem to have a fondness for any little nook or alcove where I can curl up and read. And I love this green.

Mirrors! What a fabulous way to open up a small space! And the cupboards - such a great way to make more room.

I could absolutely lounge here any given weekend morning. It's comfy and cheery and welcoming, and yellow. I love yellow. ♥

3. I'm working on making a header for my journal. We'll have to see how it turns out.
4. Even in a time of elephantine vanity and greed, one never has to look far to see the campfires of gentle people. GARRISON KEILLOR.
