psyche29Jesus, I have got to remember these things better! I'm only an hour late with it, but this will do.
Day 3 – Your Parents
My parents were married at 18 years old. 36 years, five daughters, three sons-in-law and two grandsons later, they are still married and in love.
My mom, Pat, is very crafty and loves to crochet and to quilt. She's not generally very technologically advanced, but she is a demon with those FaceBook games! :D
My dad, Bob, is nothing short of wonderful. A man who puts up with six women AND a female dog deserves serious props, and really should have won a lottery by now. He loves Star Trek and other various science-fiction things, though I would hardly label him a geek. My love of books, writing, cartoons, music and movies all come from him, as do the majority of my looks.
Both of them are diabetic, so there have always been health issues for them. But they keep getting up and moving forward, one foot in front of the other, and while things and people change, it seems to me that they mostly stay the same. And of course, I love them. ;)
