I'm descending into revolting, decidedly female issues here, so if you're very squeamish or easily grossed out, I don't suggest clicking the linky.

WTF, period?

Honestly. A few months of simple, easy periods. Then this month. I have cramps, both in the abdomen and in my lower back. And every time I sneeze (which apparently is happening a lot today), I squish. I H.A.T.E. that.

Most females probably know what I mean by "squish," but for those of you who don't, allow me to be disgusting for a minute here and explain: YOU KNOW, WHEN A FEW NASTY GOBS OF TISSUE COME OUT, TOO. THE GOOEY, ICKY WADS THAT MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE YOU'RE DISEASED.

I've been doing that a lot over the last five days. I hate having to waddle to the bathroom to clean up....especially at work.

And I don't have any tampons here to help curb the squish factor - rarely use them anyway, but still...

I know other women have far deeper problems than I do when it comes to reproductive organs, but Christ in a sidecar, does anybody want mine? *sulks*

Urgh - I think if I didn't go to the bathroom straight away, it would probably leak through clothes. I usually have a day or two of heavy, then just a normal-to-light flow the rest of the time. But this period has been a disgusting solid week of heavy. I HATE IT. [/whine]
