Books, books, books.
Feb. 11th, 2010 03:32 pm1. I finished my Stephanie Plum book already - it's light reading, really, and I'd read it before. It was more of a refresher this time around, but still hilarious.
2. The other two books I checked out last weekend - Artemis Fowl (Eoin Colfer) and The Love of a Good Woman (Alice Munro) - I tried to get into them last night, but simply wasn't interested. I've already removed the first from my reading list. I'm willing to give the Munro book another try, so I'll hang onto it and try again in a few days.
( Updated Reading List )
3. Put holds on SEVERAL books at the library. City of Glass (Cassandra Clare), Born Round: The Secret History of a Full-Time Eater (Frank Bruni), The Golden Compass (Philip Pullman), The Screwtape Letters (CS Lewis), Lament: The Faerie Queen's Deception (Maggie Stiefvater) and From the Kingdom of Memory (Elie Wiesel) - and only the first one has a waiting list, which of course, works for me.
4. MIKEY HAS FOUND A BOOK HE LIKES. AND IT'S PART OF A SERIES. *does a boogie*
