Been a while since I updated...
1. We are mostly done moving. There are just a few things left to get from the house, and we are good to go. Thank GOD.
2. Work is...work. The LEAN team is up again this week, doing more cleaning that they really have no business doing. Seriously, shouldn't people who don't KNOW anything about my job ASK me before they decide to move everything around? *rolls eyes* They're also making everyone clean their desk tomorrow and everything has to be labeled in folders in time for "inspection." Christ on a pogo stick, when did I enter the military? Seriously, these people have NO idea. [/bitching.]
3. On a happy work note, I got to move to the big corner desk today. More room for all my work, and no one can sneak up on me anymore. I LOVE it.
4. Mikey's last day of school is this Thursday. He is so happy. Amanda's dying his hair green tonight, then tomorrow night his grandfather is cutting it so that Amanda can give him either a mohawk or liberty spikes for Thursday. *hehe*
5. Mike also had five teeth pulled at the dentist on May 26th. The roots on these babies are UNBELIEVABLE. No wonder he'd only lost three in all ten of his years - they're STRONG suckers! Anyway, netted himself a cool $5.00 from the Tooth Fairy. ;)
6. Had pizza last Friday evening with Beth, Dana and the girls. Was a nice night; good food, better company.
7. Speaking of Beth, she gave me an invite code for Dreamwidth not too long ago. I like it, and will eventually get myself a paid account. Paid accounts get 75 userpics, which is cool. Here's a "free vs. paid" acct chart thingy: Comparison. And I have two of my own invite codes to give out - let me know if you'd like one. First come, first serve.
8. I'm enjoying beta reading for now. I just recently finished beta reading four different pieces for people, and have more set up, although all three of those are for the same person, and spread out nicely in terms of due dates. One of which I need to get to, like, yesterday. Sorry,
zagury...I'll get it to you tomorrow night, cross my heart. :)
9. Bought - and finished - The Sorceress a week and a half ago. Loved it; can't believe I have to wait for the next. Again. Updated my reading list.
10. OK. These pictures are in no particular date order, because I'm lazy and didn't wanna. That said, enjoy:
Amanda and Nama in the backyard at Bunny and John's, Memorial weekend.

This is Autumn. I can never get this cat to look at the camera, seriously. But she's so pretty.

Backyard at Bunny and John's.

Every once in a while, when we have snack day at work, Mark brings breakfast pizza. BEST. STUFF. EVER.

And often on snack day, Barako's wife makes these for breakfast. They make me think of samosas, so that's what I call them. God, I love them:

Best chocolate cake in the history of chocolate cakes. COSTCO. Go. Now.

Drove up around Lake Mille Lacs a couple weekends ago, stopped for sodas at a convenience store. Saw this on the counter, choked on laughter and had to take a pic:

This is our goldfish, George. This fish is at LEAST five years old, and we paid a whole TWELVE cents for him. Six inches, I shit you not:

Mikey and Matt, the two men I love best, when we stopped at Lake Mille Lacs to look around:

Same day, me and Mike:

Memorial weekend, playing in the yard at Bunny and John's:

OK. This kid BEGGED us to let him grow his hair all school year. He only went in for a trim once, and I HATE how it looks long. But it makes for some interesting morning hair:

Ooh, my new desk!! YAYAAAYYYAAYYYY!! Needs a bit more work to finish cleaning and straightening, but I lurve it anyway. Left to right (I haz THREE sides!):

Ace Ventura, Pet Detective, anyone? "NOBODY...MESSES...WITH THE 'DO!!!"

Sometime around Easter, we were in WalMart. My men egged each other into doing this with the pretty girls' Easter dresses:

When we were looking around at different furniture places before we moved, we found one of those old places with a few different floors of stuff, and saw the SCARIEST. BUG. EVER. Seriously, I've never seen one of these suckers in my LIFE:

I was informed it was a centipede or millipede, but I don't care, it is CREEPY AS HELL.
This is Stephanie; she's one of the members of my chapter. I LOVE this woman's smile:

At Mikey's conferences in February, we had a few minutes to sit and go through a folder of some of his work. We nearly lost it when we read this:

If you can't read it, his answer to the one piece of information on natural resources was: "I will remember water because we need it to survive. We also need it for showers, baths, drinks, pools, lakes, oceans (I.O. A.O. P.O.), ponds and waterbeds." And then - as if that's not amusing enough, the next question asks, "Why will you remember this more than other things you learned?" His answer? "Because it's important." Don'tcha know? XDXDXD.
And, last but not least, Mikey's hair is now green:

I think that's all I've got, for now. XD
