Any quick remedies for intense pain? That don't require needles?

I hatehatehatehate HATE pain.

Especially when it's in my side, from just under my shoulder blade stretching along the rib around to the front just under the breast. This is the second time in just over a month, and it's ridiculous.

I can hardly breathe properly - yawning and deep breathing make me see stars. And, of course, the only position it doesn't hurt in is lying on that side. *rolls eyes* Go figure.

Going to the chiropractor a little later - let them adjust and massage the hell out of it, then come back home and lie on ice some more. *sigh* Ahh, well.

*snickers to self* I'm having a grand time. *lol*

And thanks - it's slowly getting better. I'm not seeing stars when I yawn or take deep breaths anymore, so that's good. And I can sleep on my belly again, which is a huge plus (I am totally a tummy-sleeper).

And big hugs are excellent - only moving around a lot hurts it. *BIG HUG BACK*
