Day 2 - Your First Love

Well. If "first love" means "the first kid I ever remember having a crush on," then his name was Nick, and I was in the fifth grade. You know, I probably liked him in sixth grade, too.

If it means "first actual boyfriend," then it was Greg, in tenth grade.

If it means "first thrilling kiss," Shad got the honor, my sophomore year of college.

If it means "the first time you realized someone could sweep you away," well, I don't talk about that often.

And if we're talking about books, Narnia wins, hands down. ;)

Other Things Before I Crash

1. Welcome to my journal, new flisters! I look forward to getting to know you, and hope you enjoy my sometimes-eclectic (but mostly not) mix of life, the universe and everything. ;)

2. Mikey (aka Boychild) had his open house this evening. We met his teacher for the school year, and we like her so far. We told her what she needs to know about him, and were very lucky in having time just to relax with her; no one else was in the room for most of the time we were in there. Her name is Abby and she's been teaching for three years...which made us feel old, because it means we've got just over five years on her in age. I know it's not rational, but-. Anyway, she feels like she'll be a good fit for Mikey; I'm always apprehensive about that.

3. I had a 3, but I will be damned if I can remember what it was. Have headache. Need sleepy.

I like this meme a lot but I do think the topics are very vague!
