I've always been introverted. I've always had a few close friends, and most of them I keep in touch with to this day, but I've never been overtly outgoing. In school, I joined a few after-school clubs (art and drama being the only ones that lasted all four years) but I tended to stay in the background as much as possible. Nothing has made me keep to myself, nothing that stick out in my memory anyway, except perhaps a disdain and impatience for people I don't know or understand in general.
